Mission Statement

Triumph University (TU) is a school of Christian theology and ministry that equips members and leaders of Triumph Church for the work of service in the Body of Christ.  TU is designed to provide formal instruction and training through specific core tracks for members, leaders, counselors, teachers, deacons and ministers.

Biblical Foundation

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15 KJV).

Vision Statement

Triumph University exists to build believers to the glory of God.  We accomplish this by building mature followers of Jesus Christ who demonstrate the following:

  • Seek Him Constantly
  • Serve Him Faithfully
  • Share Him Boldly

“And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28).

Our vision is to be an equipping center and place where people continue to come for outstanding bible teaching and training in ministry.  Our commitment is to be a balanced ministry that is connected to community groups; responsible for seeking, serving and sharing Jesus as our Lord and Savior; and accountable to God for the work of ministry.

Purpose

TU is Pastor Solomon Kinloch’s vision of a bible teaching and training center that is committed towards fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples of all men, baptizing and teaching them to observe all that Christ had commanded. (Matthew 28:18-20).

TU was developed for the purpose of training ministers, deacons, teachers, leaders and the membership at large by providing sound biblical teachings, excellent curriculum and effective training programs.  That purpose could include any combination of the following primary objectives:

  • To assist the local church in training disciples to rightly divide the truths of the Bible.
  • To provide a strong grasp of the content of the Bible, interpreted in a sound, scholarly and spiritual manner.
  • To better understand the truths of the Bible for personal enrichment.
  • To prepare for a future professional calling in either part or full time ministry.
  • To train and equip members and leaders for works of service in God’s kingdom.
  • To provide biblical, theological and ministry knowledge and skills to members and leaders.
  • To cultivate spiritual leadership at Triumph Church.
  • To foster a culture of life-long development and learning for members and leaders called by God.
  • To provide ministry specific training and resources to leaders of the Body of Christ.
